Automation Competency Model

In collaboration with the Automation Federation the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has worked with industry leaders to develop a comprehensive competency model for careers in automation. Development of the technical competencies relied heavily on A Guide to the Automation Body of Knowledge, 2nd Edition, Vernon L. Trevathan, Editor. The model is designed to evolve along with changing skill requirements. The Automation Federation has committed to working with its industry partners to keep the model current.
