Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Competency Model

In collaboration with the Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Community of Practice, the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has worked with education, business, and industry leaders to develop a comprehensive competency model for transportation. The model is designed to evolve along with changing skill requirements. The community of practice members have committed to working with industry partners to keep the model current.

Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Community of Practice Logo  The Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics (TDL) Community of Practice is comprised of a group of workforce partners with industry connections who share a common interest in issues related to TDL. The group interacts regularly to exchange information and discuss ways to leverage resources related to workforce and economic development efforts. The TDL model serves as a resource for those activities and will be kept up to date through the input from the community.

The industry model frameworks are based on the competency model building blocks which are modified to meet the industry needs. Scroll down to view the industry model selected. OR Click on Industry Competency Models on the top navigation to view the Building Blocks.
